We are so excited that the Region 14 Elementary Teacher of the year is our very own Cynthia Black. Mrs. Black teaches 4th-8th grade science. Be sure to thank her, and all of our teachers, for the tremendous job they do in educating our children.

Parents of 5th grade students are encouraged to attend a parent information meeting concerning the upcoming trip to Texas Tech Outdoor School in Junction, Texas. The meeting will be held at the elementary school Tuesday, August 26th at 7:00 pm.

Be sure to join the community as we join together to celebrate the start of a great new school year! Activities include: Classic car and motorcycle display, musical entertainment, FREE school supplies, FREE swimming, Fire Truck demo, FREE hot dogs, watermelon, drinks, Prayer vigil for our schools and community. Be sure to bring lawn chairs!

Students must arrive at school no later than 7:50. Elementary school students must enter school through the front entrance of the elementary school. This is the only entrance open in the morning for elementary students.

Students will be released at 3:40 Monday – Thursday and at 3:00 on Fridays. Pre-K will be released at 2:30.

The cafeteria will begin serving breakfast at 7:25. Serving will stop at 7:40.

Open house is scheduled Sept. 9 from 6-7:45 p.m. Be sure to stop by and meet your child’s teacher and the new staff and faculty members at Roscoe ISD.
